Business Case URMET

N.B. Service was responsible for the renovation project of the network infrastructure of Urmet Domus establishments, starting from its headquarters in Turin. The project involved the integration of data and voice network, the creation of a Contact Center and the preservation of existing infrastructure by integrating with new solutions to maximize return on investment.

The project was divided into three phases; the first two related to the renovation of the switch, we adopted the Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch with the intent to converge voice and data on the same IP technology.

The third phase involved the replacement of the Alcatel 4400 PBX with a new Alcatel Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise, a Contact Center equipped with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) has been installed. This automated response system provides information to callers and allows you to interact via the telephone keypad.

N.B. Service has conducted an analysis that responds better to Urmet requirements and would combine renovation and cost containment. The chosen solution has allowed us to maintain the existing infrastructure by integrating with the new products, enabling management to maximize ROI (Return On Investment).
